Today on Twitter, Daniel Keem, also known as Keemstar, creator of the popular YouTube news show DramaAlert, posted a video with the caption "I think I quit." In the video he explains that he's lost his drive and passion to continue with the show, due to the hate he was receiving online. After 3 days since his last video, the move does not come as a shock to many.

Keemstar has been under fire for quite some time now, facing a constant barrage of attacks from YouTubers and their fans, including LeafyIsHere. The hate is mostly due to the controversy surrounding Keem's channel. Some of the controversy stems from his baseless accusations that a 62-year-old streamer was a pedophile, and other videos that emerged showing Keemstar using racist language. There have been many other controversies as well, and many YouTube videos specifically dedicated to the subject.

Each new DramaAlert video now receives over 50% dislikes, and virtually all top comments on the videos are insults directed at Keemstar. The DramaAlert YouTube channel has been losing many subscribers lately as well, and has lost over 120,000 in the last month alone. In addition, many of the replies to his Tweets are also laced with insults, the most popular of these comparing Keem to a gnome.

While this may not be the end of Keemstar, it is likely to be the end of DramaAlert, which was recently overtaken in subscriber count by other news sources such as Scarce, who now has 1 million more subscribers than Keem.
